Before you start.

No. They scan the session QR code and join via their phone browser, without downloading an app or signing up. Anyone who wants to track their own history across tables can create a free account, but it's optional.
Your first table is free, with every feature unlocked and no card required. The trial counts by table, not by day: if you go two weeks without playing, you lose nothing. And you can try before that: a table with up to two players does not use up the trial, so you can open one, scan the QR with your own phone and close it, just to see how it works.
You do. The player requests from their phone and nothing enters the tally without your approval, not even their entry to the table. The app records, you decide.
Yes. Entry and rebuy requests reach you in real time, so the app needs a connection during the table.
